Circular Letter 9, Series 2009 (Information) TO: The Parish Priests and Chaplians, Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan RE: 2nd Divine Mercy Congress The fruit of Christ’s passion, death and resurrection is our salvation. When Christ appeared to his disciples on that 1st Easter Sunday, he breathed on them the Spirit and commissioned them to forgive sins. And on the octave of Easter, Christ appeaered again to the eleven and, calling the attention of Thomas, showed his wounds that worught our rededemption. In recognitioni of this great mystery, the late holy servant of God, John Paul II introduced the octave of Easter as DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY. In this connection, we are holding the following activity: 2ND DIVINE MERCY CONGRESS 4 April 2009, Saturday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM to be held at the ST. THOMAS AQUINAS PARISH, Mangaldan, Pangasinan Participants: Divine Mercy organization/devotees The Congress will promote the devotion and its proper celebration in the parishes on the Divine Mercy Sunday.
